Kim Kardashian has accomplished a lot in her life so far — becoming one of the world’s first influencers, creating several booming brands, winning awards for her philanthropic efforts, passing the baby bar exam, becoming a billionaire — but we have a feeling that if you asked her what her greatest achievement has been thus far in life, she’d say it’s her four babies, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.
The mom of four is well on her way to becoming a professional momager — she did learn from the best, after all. Whether she’s making silly TikToks with North, cheering on Saint at his soccer games, showing off Chicago’s singing skills, throwing Psalm the Hulk-themed birthday party of his dreams, or simply trying to survive the chaos of four kids, Kim navigates it all with grace, even when she’s close to losing her s—t. She’s just like us in at least that one way.
You may know Kim as reality TV’s biggest star, Kanye West‘s ex-wife, or O.J. Simpson’s lawyer’s kid. You may know her as the KKW Beauty, SKIMS, and SKKN empiress, the Kardashians’ most prominent family member, or one of fashion’s biggest icons of the current generation. Kim Kardashian is many things, but here, we’re getting to know her as the ‘kool,’ loving, and carefree mom that she is.
Scrapbooking Queen (Kueen?)
During an episode of Vogue’s “Objects of My Affection” series in February 2022, Kim shared the cream-colored baby books she made for each of her kids. “I make the most epic baby books for them,” the proud mom said, continuing, “Anyone [who] knows me, they know that I love to scrapbook so that my kids can have the most amazing memories.”
She revealed more of the scrapbook contents, saying, “I have all of their little hospital details. I’ve written out mom and dad’s history [and North’s] first Vogue shoot, everyone that visited her, her sonograms, what I ate the whole pregnancy.”

Each kid has their own book, [with] pictures from their baby showers to how their birth announcement was. It’s so interesting. You’ll see emojis were such a thing for Saint, and I announced him with emojis. Snapchat was such a thing. I guess I’d have to do a TikTok announcement these days,” the ever-thinking social media mogul joked.
Admiring Her Kids Different Personalities & Interests
During an appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show, Kim reveled in the fact that her kids are all so different. “[Chicago] is my girliest girl that loves pink and purple and makeup. Chi Chi is my little princess. Anything princess, anything girly girl. … Saint is, like, a video game tech whiz, amazing. Psalm is really into Paw Patrol and cars. … [North is] into Hot Topic. She puts fake tattoos on her face, and she listens to Black Sabbath. She’s just, like, a full goth girl.”
Iconic Birthday Parties for Everyone
Reminiscing about the best birthday parties she’s thrown her kids, Kim told Parents, “North’s first birthday party is definitely one of the best we’ve ever done. It was ‘Kidchella,’ so Coachella-themed, and the kids absolutely loved it. Saint’s last birthday was dinosaur-themed, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen him so happy. That was amazing.”
On Her Parenting Superpower
“I’m naturally very calm, which I think translates into my parenting. I don’t get super-stressed or impatient, which I think is definitely a superpower when you have three kids age 5 and under running around,” Kim told Parents.
The Proudest Mama
On an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians that featured North singing at one of Kanye West’s Yeezy shows, Kim gushed, “She obviously gets that [confidence] from her dad, and it just makes me so happy that she’s not afraid to try anything. That, to me, was just so fun to see. She’s just fearless, and I love that about her. I’m such a proud mom.”
Living for the Snuggles
The mom of four told Parents, “I love the post-bathtime snuggles. My kids love to cuddle with me in bed and read books to wind down. I could snuggle with them all the time; it’s the best.”
On Her Kids’ Sibling Bond
“They get along so well and have so much love for each other,” Kim told Parents. “It reminds me of growing up with Kourtney, Khloé, and Rob. There’s something so special about having a big family, and I’m happy my babies get that experience the way I did.”
Raising Good Kids
During a Sunday Project interview, the mom of four said, “I do the best I can, and I really do believe my children are well adjusted and know they are blessed, but understand to be really compassionate. They’re really good people, and that is my No. 1 goal in life.”
Enjoying Every Moment, No Matter What
During an appearance on Good Morning Vogue in March 2021, Kim explained the joys she was able to find during the dark time of the COVID-19 pandemic. “Just the amount of time that me and all my parent friends have all spent with our children has been so beautiful that we get this time. I always try to look at things in a positive way. Even though it has been such a challenging year, it’s a time to regenerate, get creative, spend so much time with family. Just this time I’ve been able to spend with my children has been priceless.”
Endlessly Grateful for Surrogacy
In a video campaign for SKIMS, the brand owner said, “I’m so thankful for my beautiful kids, no matter how they came to me — they came to me. I’m so thankful for surrogates.”
She continued, “I’m really thankful for my family. I grew up with so many siblings. I just loved being in a big environment. I would have gone through the same pain and back for the result of having my babies. It was all worth it.”
Class Mom Kim
“We’ve already made all their Valentine’s and done all that stuff for school,” Kim told E! News in February 2020. “Valentine’s Day every year, I volunteer at school and I’m the class mom because they love that. They make cupcakes, and it’s a whole thing.”
Pursuing a Law Degree to Protect Her Sons
Explaining part of her motivation to obtain a law degree, Kim told Jenna Bush Hager, “I definitely see how Black men are treated in this country … and I’m raising two Black men, so I want to make sure that my world and their world is as safe and as fair as possible.”
